ST. BONAVENTURE — He walked into the consciousness of the St. Bonaventure basketball faithful, onto the golden-colored Reilly Center hardwood for the first time, on Nov. 14, 2008, as unknown as the prospects for a still struggling basketball program.
The gangly kid with big feet and a big smile from Canada wasn’t a savior, wasn’t the unquestioned focus of the opposition, wasn’t even a starter.
